About Top Tens

Winning isn't everything, but it beats anything in second place. (William Cullen Bryant)

Looking at the overall negativity of a Wikipedia, of its categories Wikipedia pages are classified into high-level categories (see more…), and of its single pages (also using the search Search for Wikipedia pages and explore their negativity (see more…) functionality) is certainly interesting, but there is also the need to provide other compact syntheses of negativity, like rankings. Negapedia provides ranks in various forms, for instance by using top tens that show the most conflictual The instability of information (see more…) or most angry The anger level of people (see more…) pages.

Top tens are available in various combinations of selected axes (time and topic): the desired negative view (conflict The instability of information (see more…) and anger The anger level of people (see more…)) of the top pages can be seen for a specific period of time (a certain year, or all time), as well as for a specific topic (a certain category Wikipedia pages are classified into high-level categories (see more…), or globally within a Wikipedia). This allows for very precise views of the top pages that matter: the true flagships of negativity in the world of Wikipedia and, correspondingly, in our society.
